Fall Wildflower Walk

September 22 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am EDT

Native wildflowers really come into their own in the fall, providing nectar and seeds for pollinators and birds. The golds of goldenrods and sunflowers combine with the purples, pinks, and whites of asters, all accented by seedheads of native grasses – little bluestem, big bluestem, and Indian grass. Join naturalist and landscape architect Kelsey Stanton for an early morning walk to learn about these natives, which are great for your garden and possibly see migrating monarch butterflies and warblers.
