We offer interdisciplinary, hands-on environmental education and science programs for students in grades Pre K through 12. Programs are designed to supplement school curricula, and correlate to many of the Pennsylvania Academic Standards.

Program Locations
On-site Programs are held at our headquarters at Welkinweir, located at 1368 Prizer Road in East Nantmeal Township. Welkinweir offers 224-acres of forests, meadows, ponds, and streams for students to study and explore. These lessons can also be used to introduce and prepare students for follow-up programs at your school.
Outreach Programs involve outdoor study in your schoolyard, or hands-on programs in your classroom. These lessons can also be used to introduce and prepare students for follow-up programs at Welkinweir. Please inquire about program options based on your schoolyard design.
After School Environmental Clubs
During the school year, we offer After School Environmental Clubs at elementary and middle schools, in partnership with Owen J. Roberts, Phoenixville, and Pottstown School Districts.
Nature Explorers Club is for second grade students who are interested in learning more about nature in their neighborhood. Club involves fun and educational activities, projects, and outdoor exploration.
WATER Club: Watershed Awareness Transforming into Environmental Responsibility, is currently held at Owen J. Roberts and Phoenixville Area Middle Schools, and is open to sixth, seventh and eighth grade students interested in learning more about protecting their fresh water resources and the land-water connection. Students participate in outdoor experiences including stream exploration, tree plantings, and recreational activities such as fishing and kayaking.
Students in all After School Environmental Clubs are chosen through an application process. The programs are funded through a growing list of generous foundations and partners.
