GVWA is bringing a range of approaches to the process understanding how our local watersheds work. In general, all watersheds are complex systems made up of many features, that are constantly responding to a range of dynamic inputs–weather, human activities, and now climate. Each watershed is also unique, and Green Valleys has been working to understand our local watersheds since our organization’s inception 60 years ago.
Our Watershed Science Program is collecting water quality data and developing the necessary framework to interpret that data. We are also working with a variety of other types of information to help us understand the water quality data we are collecting.
